Emergency Nursing 2023 – Inspiration Awaits in San Diego

By definition, inspire means to fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something.

By nature, Emergency Nursing 2023 in San Diego will offer a seemingly limitless supply of inspiration for the thousands of emergency nurses in attendance — and I can’t wait to see it all firsthand.

It’s no secret that I’ve been to my fair share of ENA’s annual conferences over the years, so it would be easy to say I’ve seen it all. Far from it. ENA’s emphasis on innovation, engagement and attention to detail drives the uniquely powerful experience you’ll have at the San Diego Convention Center in less than one month.

This year’s “Level Up” theme comes to life over three days of hands-on learning, 100 educational presentations led by knowledgeable experts, meaningful networking and engagement events with your friends and peers, and an Experience Hall that will be filled with tremendous energy thanks to ENA’s industry partners.

You’ll find something to enhance your clinical skills and professional development goals around every corner. Emergency Nursing 2023 is the intersection of inspiration and leveling up as you travel on your career journey. Of course, the experience continues after you leave San Diego, thanks to Digital Access to all educational content that allows you to keep learning through January 2024.

And, like you, I’m ready to be entertained and to have some fun, too. The annual Welcome Party is a “super” time to dress up like some of those heroes who don’t wear scrubs. The Opening Session always delivers a boost of energy to get things rolling. And I know this year’s keynote speaker, Shola Richards, will bring a message of positivity we’ll all want to hear.

Then on Saturday night, I hope everyone joins me for some laughs at the comedy-club-inspired Closing Session. Comedians Nancy Norton and Liz Glazer are going to have us all wrapping up the week on a high note.

Add into the mix SIM Wars, the Hall of Honor and a multitude of other moments over three days to see there’s a seemingly endless stream of opportunities to get inspired by the high-quality emergency nursing education and the community of ED nurses reuniting in San Diego.

Emergency Nursing 2023 promises to be the highlight of my year, and I hope it can be for you, as well. It’s a chance to step away from work and reset ourselves at a time when we need it most for our personal health and well-being. You will walk away reinvigorated and loaded with stories, insights and clinical information to bring back to your EDs.
