Experience Hall: A Preview of Special Features at Emergency Nursing 2023

The Experience Hall – home to more than 150 exhibitors, dynamic competitions, demonstrations and educational opportunities – is back for Emergency Nursing 2023.

The expansive exhibit space, open from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Sept. 22-23, showcases the latest technology and clinical innovations from vendors.

SIM Wars

The popular simulation event is back. Teams of nurses will work through simulated patient scenarios to achieve the best outcomes. Teams are scored on their clinical management, teamwork and communication.

ENA has redesigned its trophy and created a “championship belt” for the winning team to show off its bragging rights.

Meet & Greets

Four specialty Meet & Greet sessions will also be hosted in the Emergency Nursing 2023 Experience Hall. The International Meet & Greet will be first from 1:45-2:30 p.m. on Sept. 22. The APRN Meet & Greet will take place immediately after from 2:30-3:15 p.m.

On Sept. 23, the Government Affairs Meet & Greet is scheduled for 1:45-2:30 p.m., followed by the Military Meet & Greet from 2:30-3:15 p.m. Veterans and current service members will receive Veteran Challenge Coins at the Military Meet & Greet and are encouraged to wear apparel that represents their branches of service at the event.

Cash bars will be available at the four Experience Hall Meet & Greets.

Sharpen Your Skills: Hands-on Learning Experience

Emergency departments consistently perform critical interventions that save lives. As ED staff performs these skills, whether daily or infrequently, there is a danger when the dynamic becomes low volume and high risk. Improve patient outcomes by increasing your skill timeliness and competency at ENA’s Sharpen Your Skills pavilion. ENA Experience

The ENA Experience is your one-stop shop for all things ENA, including membership, education, publications, ENA Foundation, career development opportunities, and exclusive conference merchandise and products. Attendees can also stop by to participate in this year’s educational and interactive DEI Engagement activity. The ENA Experience can be found at the back of the Experience Hall.

ePosters

Attendees can view the ePosters on monitors in the Experience Hall. They can also meet with the presenters to discuss their projects, findings and opportunities to improve practice in their facility.

Insights & Innovations Theater

This space is set aside for special education sessions delivered in varying formats. With fun game shows, emergency nursing debates, and short, powerful talks on hot topics or innovative products and services, the Insights & Innovations Theater offers an array of experiential education opportunities.

DisastER

Prepare for emergencies outside the emergency department with this experiential learning event. A live helicopter, ambulance and fuselage will be displayed on-site to demonstrate the functions, key considerations and working conditions inside these nontraditional working environments.
